Ride-On Motorbikes – FAQs

Got questions about our ride-on motorbikes? From age and weight limits to speed, batteries, and safety, here are the answers parents ask most about our 12V and 24V models.

What age and weight are ride-on motorbikes suitable for?

Most ride-on motorbikes are recommended for children aged 3–8 years. Weight capacity depends on the model and motor setup: 12V bikes usually support 25–45 kg, while 24V versions can handle between 35–60 kg. Always check the individual product specifications to match your child’s size and age.

How fast do ride-on motorbikes go?

Speed depends on the frame, motor size, and RPM. Models with 380 or 390 motors generally reach 3–4 km/h, while those with 550 or 555 motors can go 4–6 km/h, depending on rider weight and terrain. 24V motorbikes equipped with 550, 555, or larger 150–400W motors can achieve 8–15 km/h, while certain lithium-powered models are capable of speeds up to 25 km/h.

How long does the battery last and how long does it take to charge?

Like our ride-on cars, ride-on motorbikes take around 8–10 hours to fully charge. Playtime depends on the battery size and setup: 12V 7Ah batteries usually provide 60–80 minutes, while 24V 7Ah or 14Ah batteries can last 90–120 minutes per charge. Runtime may vary depending on terrain, rider weight, and use of features like lights or music.

Do ride-on motorbikes have training wheels or stabilisers?

Yes. Many sports-style ride-on motorbikes include removable training wheels, which can be taken off once children are confident riders. Three-wheel trike-style motorbikes (two wheels at the back, one at the front) are naturally stable and do not require removable stabilisers.

Do ride-on motorbikes come with a parental remote control?

No, ride-on motorbikes do not include remote controls. Unlike cars or buggies, motorbikes are designed to be self-driven. For this reason, parent supervision is always essential, and children should only ride in safe areas away from roads, traffic, or steep surfaces.

What extra features do ride-on motorbikes include?

Many ride-on motorbikes come with features like working headlights, horns, music systems, easy-grip handlebars, and footrests. Higher-powered 12V and 24V models may also include MP3 or Bluetooth connectivity, adding more fun to the riding experience.
